4 January 2008 - Just the other day I heard back from someone in North Carolina about doing my next placement there. I believe it will be involving dolphin biology and behavior, photography for ID, sea turtle conservation, barrier island ecology... So definately a change in scenery! Hopefully it will work out. I mentioned about my last placement and he seemed very interested about that. Can't wait!!

Recently I've been working on a paper on sustainable development and whether it has now become a debased currency appropriated by politicians more concerned with the next election than any long term consequences. It's certainly more interesting than the last one! Off to the Pyrenees in June for a weeks field trip- I know nothing more than that! Went to Wales the week before Christmas- it's such a beautiful part of the world :) There were lots of sheep and a few cows...!
